South Salem Saxons Boys Soccer 2-0 Sprague

South Salem picked up a clean sheet on the road Thursday, shutting out Sprague 2-0 in a 6A-6 Central Valley Conference boys soccer matchup played in Salem, Oregon. The Saxons controlled the contest from start to finish, holding Sprague scoreless while converting twice to secure the road victory. The win moves South Salem to 10-4 overall and 8-2 in conference play, keeping the Saxons firmly in the league race as the regular season winds down. It was a strong statement performance away from home, with the defense doing its part to deny Sprague any route back into the game. Entering the night at 9-4, South Salem needed a result and delivered one in convincing fashion. With the postseason approaching, the Saxons will look to carry this momentum into their remaining matches and position themselves for a strong playoff run.
