South Salem Saxons Boys Soccer 4-0 North Salem

South Salem's boys soccer team delivered a dominant shutout performance Thursday night, topping crosstown rival North Salem 4-0 in a Central Valley Conference (6A) league match played in Salem, Oregon. The victory moves the Saxons to 8-4 overall and 6-2 in conference play as the postseason window draws closer. A clean sheet against a familiar rival carries extra weight, and holding North Salem scoreless from start to finish speaks to the defensive discipline South Salem brought into the match. The four-goal output on the attacking end was equally impressive, giving the Saxons a comfortable margin that was never in doubt. With the regular season winding down, South Salem will look to build on this momentum and secure their positioning in the Central Valley Conference standings. Every league win matters at this stage, and Thursday's result keeps the Saxons in strong shape heading into the final stretch of the 2026 fall season.
