West Salem's softball team delivered a dominant performance Wednesday night, shutting out crosstown rival South Salem 15-0 in a league matchup that was over early. The Titans controlled every aspect of the game from the opening inning, combining explosive offensive production with stellar pitching to secure the mercy-rule victory at home.

The lopsided win against their crosstown neighbors showcased West Salem's depth and talent as the spring season enters its final stretch. Getting contributions throughout the lineup, the Titans built an insurmountable lead while their pitcher kept South Salem completely off the scoreboard.

With the victory, West Salem improved to 14-5 overall and 5-2 in conference play, maintaining their strong position in league standings. The shutout performance demonstrates the kind of complete-game execution that makes teams dangerous in postseason play.

The Titans will look to carry this momentum into their remaining regular season games as they prepare for what promises to be a competitive playoff run in the coming weeks.
