North Salem Vikings Girls Soccer 0-3 South Salem

South Salem handed North Salem a 3-0 defeat Thursday night in a Central Valley Conference (6A) girls soccer matchup played in Salem, Oregon, dropping the Vikings to 4-7-1 overall and 1-7 in league play. The Saxons controlled the match from start to finish, finding the net three times while keeping North Salem off the scoreboard at home. The loss adds another difficult result to a challenging stretch of conference play for the Vikings, who have struggled to find consistency against league opponents this fall. North Salem entered the match at 4-6-1 and was unable to pick up a result that could have provided some momentum heading into the final stretch of the regular season. With the postseason approaching, the Vikings will need to regroup quickly and look for a strong finish in their remaining league games to close out 2026 on a positive note. North Salem returns to action next week with another conference contest on the schedule.
