Silverton Foxes Girls Soccer 5-0 West Albany

Silverton rolled to a convincing 5-0 girls soccer victory at West Albany on Tuesday, picking up a strong league road win in the 5A-3 Mid-Willamette Conference. The Foxes from Silverton, Oregon, dominated from start to finish, holding the Bulldogs scoreless and putting five goals on the board to make a statement in conference play. The shutout victory improved Silverton to 5-2-3 overall and 2-0 in league, keeping the Foxes unbeaten through two conference matches this fall. After entering the night at 4-2-3, Tuesday's performance showed the kind of offensive firepower and defensive discipline that can carry a team deep into the postseason conversation. A five-goal road effort against a conference opponent is no small thing, and Silverton's clean sheet underscores just how locked in this group has been through the heart of the schedule. The Foxes will look to carry that momentum forward as league play continues and the 5A playoff picture begins to take shape.
