North Salem Vikings Girls Volleyball 3-1 McKay

North Salem's girls volleyball team picked up a road victory Tuesday, defeating McKay 3-1 in a non-league matchup away from Salem, Oregon. The Vikings, who compete in the 6A-6 Central Valley Conference, earned the win on McKay's home floor to improve their season record to 7-11. North Salem controlled enough sets to pull away from the host Ravens, taking three of four to secure the decisive result. Road wins can be difficult to come by at this stage of the season, and this one gives the Vikings some positive momentum heading into the final stretch of fall play. The victory is a step in the right direction for a North Salem squad that has been building through a competitive schedule. With the season winding down, the Vikings will look to carry this energy forward and finish strong in their remaining matches.
