McNary Celtics Girls Soccer 8-0 North Salem

Eight goals and a clean sheet told the story Monday night in Keizer, Oregon, as McNary girls soccer rolled past North Salem 8-0 in Central Valley Conference (6A) play at home. The commanding victory improved the Celtics to 6-4 overall and kept their conference slate spotless at 6-0 on the season. Against a North Salem side that could not find an answer defensively, McNary controlled the match from start to finish, piling on goals across both halves while holding the Vikings scoreless. The result stands as one of the more dominant performances of the fall for the Celtics, who entered the night at 5-4 overall and needed a strong showing to keep their league title hopes alive. With a perfect conference record heading into the final stretch of the regular season, McNary now carries real momentum and a comfortable cushion in the CVC standings. The Celtics will look to extend that unbeaten league run in their next outing later this week.
