McKay Royal Scots Boys Soccer 3-0 Sprague

A clean sheet and three goals told the story Monday as McKay boys soccer handed Sprague a 3-0 defeat on home turf in Salem, Oregon, pushing the Royal Scots up the Mid-Willamette Conference (5A) standings in convincing fashion. The shutout victory improved McKay to 8-2-1 overall and 5-1 in league play, keeping the Royal Scots firmly in the conference title conversation as the postseason approaches. Playing in front of a home crowd, McKay controlled the match from the opening whistle, finding the net three times while holding Sprague off the scoreboard entirely. The defensive effort was as notable as the offensive output, with the Royal Scots not allowing a single goal in what amounted to a statement win against a familiar rival. With the regular season winding down, McKay has positioned itself well for a strong playoff push. The Royal Scots will look to carry this momentum into their next league test and lock down a top postseason seed.
