McKay Royal Scots Boys Soccer 3-0 McNary

McKay's boys soccer team handed McNary a 3-0 shutout on the road Monday night, a result that tightens the Salem, Oregon, program's grip on the 6A-6 Central Valley Conference standings. The Royal Scots made the trip to Keizer and left with all three points, doing their talking with a clean sheet and three decisive goals against a Celtics side that had no answer through the final whistle.

The victory pushes McKay to 10-2-1 overall and 7-1 in conference play, a mark that keeps the Scots firmly in the hunt for a league title with the regular season winding down. Holding McNary scoreless on its home pitch speaks well of McKay's defensive organization and the team's ability to perform under road pressure.

With the postseason rapidly approaching, the Scots will look to carry this momentum into their remaining matches and secure the strongest possible seeding heading into the 6A playoffs.
