Central Panthers Girls Volleyball 3-1 Philomath

Central's volleyball team picked up a road win Thursday night, defeating Philomath 3-1 in non-league action. The Panthers, based in Independence, Oregon, and competing in the 4A-3 Oregon West Conference, made the trip to Philomath and left with a convincing result that pushes their record to 16-2 on the season. Dropping just one set on the road speaks to the depth and resilience this group has shown throughout the fall. Central entered the match at 15-2, already one of the stronger records in the mid-valley, and Thursday's performance only adds to that momentum. Winning away from home against a mid-valley program like Philomath is a confidence-building moment, especially as the postseason approaches. The Panthers have now won four of their last five outings and look like a program hitting its stride at exactly the right time. Central will look to carry this road success into upcoming league play as the 4A-3 Oregon West Conference stretch run begins to take shape.
