Woodburn Bulldogs Girls Volleyball 3-0 Hillsboro

A clean sweep gave Woodburn a needed boost Tuesday night, as the Bulldogs volleyball team defeated visiting Hillsboro 3-0 in non-league play at home in Woodburn, Oregon. The victory lifts Woodburn, a member of the 5A-2 Greater Metro Conference, to 6-11 on the season.

With no sets dropped across three frames, Woodburn controlled the match from start to finish, giving the Bulldogs a convincing performance heading into the final stretch of the fall schedule. The straight-set result was a statement of efficiency, and for a squad that has been building toward more consistent play, Tuesday's showing against a Hillsboro team offered a timely confidence boost.

The win snaps some of the recent frustration that came with a 5-11 record entering the night, and the Bulldogs now carry a measure of momentum as the postseason picture comes into focus. Woodburn fans will be watching closely as the team looks to close the regular season on a strong note.
