West Salem Titans Football 28-10 Barlow

West Salem's football team walked out of Gresham with a convincing 28-10 non-league victory over Barlow on Friday night, giving the Salem, Oregon-based Central Valley Conference (6A) program a much-needed boost at the midpoint of the fall season. The Titans, who entered the game at 2-4, controlled the scoreboard from early on, building a lead that Barlow was never able to seriously threaten. West Salem's offense generated 28 points while the defense held the Bruins to just 10, a performance that reflected improved execution on both sides of the ball. The win moves West Salem to 3-4 on the year as the team heads into the final stretch of the regular season with momentum at its back. With conference play still very much in the balance, Friday's road performance showed the Titans are capable of rising to the moment when it counts. West Salem will look to carry that confidence forward as they return home next week.
