West Salem Titans Baseball 0-3 South Salem
West Salem couldn't generate enough offense in a 3-0 baseball loss to South Salem at home Tuesday evening. The Titans managed just a handful of hits against South Salem pitching in the league matchup, failing to capitalize on several scoring opportunities throughout the contest. South Salem struck early and added insurance runs to secure the victory in the crosstown rivalry game. West Salem's struggles at the plate continued a challenging pattern that has defined much of their 2026 campaign. The loss drops West Salem to 3-10 overall and 0-4 in conference play, putting additional pressure on the team as they navigate the remainder of the spring season. Despite the disappointing result, West Salem showed defensive improvement in several innings and demonstrated resilience against a quality South Salem squad. The Titans will need to regroup quickly as league play continues. With several games remaining on the schedule, West Salem has opportunities to build momentum and develop younger players for future seasons. The team returns to action later this week.
