Dallas Dragons Girls Soccer 1-4 West Albany

West Albany handed the Dallas Dragons a 4-1 defeat in Mid-Willamette Conference (5A) girls soccer Thursday evening at Dragon home turf in Dallas, Oregon. The Bulldogs controlled much of the match, building a lead Dallas could not overcome on its own pitch. The lone Dallas goal offered a brief moment of encouragement, but West Albany's four-score output proved too much for the Dragons to answer. The loss drops Dallas to 2-9-1 overall and 0-3 in conference play as the team continues to search for its first league win of the season. Despite the scoreboard, playing at home gave the Dragons a chance to build chemistry and test themselves against one of the conference's stronger sides. Dallas will need to tighten its defensive shape and find more consistent finishing opportunities if it wants to make noise down the stretch. The Dragons return to action next week with another Mid-Willamette Conference matchup, giving the squad a fresh opportunity to pick up that elusive first league point.
