Stayton Eagles Girls Volleyball 2-3 Cascade

Cascade handed Stayton a tough five-set defeat Thursday night, winning 3-2 in a hard-fought 4A-3 Oregon West Conference road match that tested the Eagles from Stayton, Oregon, from start to finish. The girls volleyball result drops Stayton to 16-4 overall and 8-1 in conference play, but the Eagles remain in strong standing as the regular season winds down. Playing away from home, Stayton pushed the match to five sets, showing the kind of resilience that has defined a season filled with wins. Cascade earned the victory on their home floor, but the Eagles made them work for every point. With one conference loss now on the books, Stayton will need to regroup and close out the remaining schedule with the same intensity that carried them to a 16-win campaign. The Eagles return to action next week with an eye on protecting their conference positioning and making a strong run into postseason play.
