Sprague Olympians Football 56-6 South Salem

Sprague rolled to a commanding 56-6 victory over South Salem on Friday night in a Central Valley Conference (6A) football matchup played in Salem, Oregon, pushing the Olympians to 4-3 overall and a perfect 3-0 in league play. The lopsided margin told the story clearly. Sprague controlled the game from start to finish on the road, keeping South Salem's offense largely in check while the Olympians' own offense found consistent success throughout the night. The 50-point victory is a significant statement for a Sprague squad that entered the week at 3-3, needing wins to solidify its postseason standing. Three games into conference play without a loss, Sprague has positioned itself as a legitimate Central Valley Conference contender with the back half of the league schedule still ahead. The Olympians will look to carry that momentum forward as they continue chasing a strong finish that could determine seeding when the playoffs arrive.
