Sprague Olympians Boys Volleyball 3-2 North Salem
Sprague's boys volleyball team delivered when it mattered most, outlasting crosstown rival North Salem 3-2 in a grueling five-set battle at home Tuesday night. The Olympians showed tremendous resilience in the back-and-forth contest, refusing to fold after dropping sets in what became an instant classic between the Salem schools. With the victory, Sprague improves to 8-6 overall and 7-6 in conference play, keeping their postseason hopes very much alive. The win was especially sweet coming against North Salem, as crosstown matchups always carry extra weight regardless of sport or standings. Sprague's ability to close out the fifth set demonstrated the kind of mental toughness that will serve them well down the stretch. The Olympians have now won back-to-back matches and are building momentum at the right time. With several league matches remaining, Sprague has positioned itself well for a potential playoff berth. The team will look to carry this energy into their next contest as they continue pushing toward the postseason.
