Silverton Foxes Girls Soccer 8-0 Lebanon

Eight goals and a clean sheet gave Silverton a commanding 8-0 victory over Lebanon on Thursday, an emphatic start to Mid-Willamette Conference (5A) play for the Foxes in Silverton, Oregon. The girls soccer win moved Silverton to 4-2-3 overall and 1-0 in league play as the postseason push begins to take shape.

The margin left little doubt from the opening whistle. Silverton's attack found consistent openings against the Warriors, and the defense answered with a shutout that kept Lebanon off the scoreboard entirely. For a team that entered the night at 3-2-3, the performance offered a strong signal that the Foxes are rounding into form at the right point in the calendar.

League play compresses quickly in the Mid-Willamette Conference, and a convincing opening result gives Silverton both confidence and a favorable position in the standings. The Foxes will look to build on Thursday's momentum when they return to action next week.
