Salem Academy Crusaders Football 0-37 Scio

Scio handed Salem Academy a tough night on the football field Friday, shutting out the Crusaders 37-0 in a Mid-Willamette Valley league contest played in Scio, Oregon, far from the Salem, Oregon home sideline the Crusaders know well. The loss drops Salem Academy to 3-5 overall and 1-2 in conference play as the fall season enters its final stretch. Scio controlled the game from start to finish, keeping the Crusaders off the scoreboard entirely and building a commanding margin that left little room for a Salem Academy comeback. Without detailed play-by-play available, it is clear the Crusaders faced a difficult matchup on the road against a Scio squad that brought consistent pressure throughout the evening. The result is a setback, but Salem Academy still has time to finish the season on a stronger note. The Crusaders will look to respond next week with a sharper offensive showing and renewed energy heading into the final games of 2026.
