McNary Celtics Girls Soccer 2-0 West Salem

McNary's girls soccer team kept its Central Valley Conference (6A) record spotless Thursday, shutting out host West Salem 2-0 in a road league matchup. The Celtics, who call Keizer, Oregon home, improved to 5-4 overall with the victory while stretching their conference mark to a perfect 5-0 on the season. Playing away from home against a rival, McNary delivered a clean sheet that underscores just how dominant the Celtics have been within league play this fall. The 2-0 final gave West Salem no real answer offensively, as McNary's defense held firm throughout the evening. The result is a significant confidence boost for a squad that came into the night sitting at 4-4 overall, giving the Celtics a winning record for the first time this season. With the conference slate still ongoing, McNary will look to protect that unblemished league mark and continue building momentum as the postseason picture begins to take shape in the weeks ahead.
