McNary Celtics Boys Soccer 1-3 Century

Century handed McNary a 3-1 defeat Monday evening in a non-league boys soccer match, sending the Celtics home from Hillsboro with a loss to open the 2026 fall campaign. McNary, based in Keizer, Oregon, and a member of the Central Valley Conference (6A), was tested early on the road against a Jaguars side that proved difficult to contain throughout the match. Century built its three-goal cushion before McNary could find consistent rhythm, though the Celtics did get on the scoresheet with a goal of their own to show some fight against a tough opponent. Road openers against non-league competition often serve as valuable measuring sticks, and Monday's result gives the coaching staff plenty of film to study as the team works toward league play.
