West Salem Titans Boys Soccer 1-2 McKay

McKay edged West Salem 2-1 in a Central Valley Conference (6A) boys soccer match Thursday evening in Salem, Oregon, handing the Titans a tough home loss. The result drops West Salem to 7-4-1 overall and 5-2 in league play as the postseason window begins to narrow. Playing in front of their home crowd, the Titans found the net once but could not overcome a McKay side that scored twice to claim the three points. Without a detailed box score available, the full picture of individual contributions remains incomplete, but the narrow margin suggests West Salem competed throughout and kept themselves in the match until the final whistle. The loss is the Titans' second in conference play this season, a reminder of how tight the Central Valley Conference standings can be down the stretch. West Salem will need to regroup quickly, as every remaining league match carries significant weight for playoff positioning. The Titans return to action next week looking to bounce back and protect their spot in the postseason picture.
