Woodburn Bulldogs Girls Volleyball 1-3 Liberty

Liberty claimed a 3-1 victory over Woodburn in girls volleyball Thursday night, sending the Bulldogs home from their road trip with a tough non-league defeat. Woodburn, representing the Mid-Willamette Conference (5A) out of Woodburn, Oregon, found themselves outmatched for much of the evening against the host Eagles. The Bulldogs did manage to claim one set in the four-set contest, showing some resilience before Liberty closed out the match. The result drops Woodburn to 1-5 on the season, a stretch that has tested this young program's resolve through the early weeks of fall competition. With non-league play providing valuable experience against varied competition, the Bulldogs will look to carry lessons from Thursday's match into their upcoming schedule.
