Woodburn Bulldogs Girls Volleyball 1-3 Liberty

Liberty claimed a 3-1 victory over Woodburn in girls volleyball Thursday night, sending the Bulldogs home from their road trip with a tough non-league defeat. Woodburn, representing the Mid-Willamette Conference (5A) out of Woodburn, Oregon, found themselves outmatched for much of the evening against the host Eagles. The Bulldogs did manage to claim one set in the four-set contest, showing some resilience before Liberty closed out the match. The result drops Woodburn to 1-5 on the season, a stretch that has tested this young program's resolve through the early weeks of fall competition. With non-league play providing valuable experience against varied competition, the Bulldogs will look to carry lessons from Thursday's match into their upcoming schedule. Mid-Willamette Conference play will be where Woodburn's season ultimately takes shape, and there remains plenty of time for the squad to find its footing and build momentum heading into league action.
