Silverton Foxes Softball 3-18 Dallas
Dallas came to town and delivered a offensive clinic, overwhelming Silverton 18-3 in Wednesday's league softball matchup. The Dragons couldn't find answers for Dallas's relentless attack, which produced runs in bunches throughout the contest.
Silverton managed just three runs against a Dallas squad that seemed to find gaps everywhere. The visiting team's bats stayed hot from the opening inning, building an insurmountable lead that put the game out of reach early.
Despite the lopsided outcome, the Dragons showed resilience by continuing to compete through seven innings. Silverton's three runs demonstrated they could manufacture offense, even in difficult circumstances.
The loss drops Silverton to 8-7 overall and 6-4 in conference play, still positioning them well for the stretch run. With several games remaining on the schedule, the Dragons have opportunities to bounce back and secure their playoff positioning.
Silverton will look to regroup quickly and return to the winning form that carried them to their strong start this spring season.
