Cascade Cougars Boys Soccer 4-1 Newport

Cascade's boys soccer team left the Oregon Coast with a convincing 4-1 road victory over Newport on Thursday, keeping the Turner, Oregon, squad perfect in Oregon West Conference (4A) play. The Cubs controlled the match from start to finish, scoring four goals against the Mariners and surrendering just one in the process. The win pushes Cascade to 11-0-1 on the season and a spotless 5-0 in conference, reinforcing their standing as one of the top teams in the classification. Traveling to the coast is never a simple task, and the Cubs' ability to execute and put four goals on the board speaks to the depth and confidence this group has built through an unbeaten fall. Newport made things interesting briefly, but Cascade answered with consistent pressure and finishing. With the regular season winding down, the Cubs will look to carry this momentum into their remaining conference matches and position themselves for a strong postseason run.
