Philomath's offense proved too much for Cascade on Monday afternoon, as the Warriors fell 8-3 in a Mid-Willamette Conference baseball game at Philomath High School. The loss drops Cascade to 4-8 overall while maintaining a respectable 3-2 conference record.

The Warriors managed three runs against Philomath's pitching staff but couldn't contain the home team's offensive attack. Philomath built momentum early and maintained control throughout most of the contest, ultimately pulling away for the five-run victory.

Despite the setback, Cascade remains in solid position within conference standings. The Warriors have shown they can compete with league opponents, splitting their first five conference games evenly.

Cascade will look to bounce back and get back on track as they continue navigating the spring baseball season. With conference play heating up, every game becomes increasingly important for postseason positioning. The Warriors have demonstrated resilience throughout the season and will aim to carry that forward into their next opportunity on the diamond.
