Blanchet Catholic School Cavaliers Boys Soccer 6-0 Amity

Six goals and a clean sheet told the story Thursday night as Blanchet Catholic dominated Amity 6-0 in a PacWest Conference (3A) boys soccer match at home in Salem, Oregon. The Cavaliers turned in one of their most complete performances of the fall, controlling the match from start to finish and leaving little doubt about the outcome. The shutout was a testament to a defense that has been stingy all season, while the offense more than did its part with a six-goal outburst. With the victory, Blanchet Catholic improves to 10-1-2 overall and 6-1 in conference play, solidifying their standing near the top of the PacWest standings as the regular season winds toward its conclusion. The Cavaliers entered the night with strong momentum at 9-1-2, and this result only adds to it. With postseason positioning on the line over the coming weeks, Blanchet Catholic will look to carry this dominant effort into their remaining league contests.
