Blanchet Catholic School Cavaliers Boys Soccer 8-0 Gervais

Blanchet Catholic's boys soccer team made a statement on the road Tuesday, shutting out Gervais 8-0 in a PacWest Conference (3A) league match played in Gervais. The Cavaliers, representing Salem, Oregon, delivered a dominant performance from start to finish, controlling the match in every phase. The lopsided victory pushed Blanchet Catholic's overall record to 9-1-2 on the season and improved their conference mark to 5-1, keeping them firmly in the mix at the top of the PacWest standings. The Cavaliers entered the contest at 8-1-2 and wasted no time building on that strong foundation. Gervais had no answers defensively as Blanchet Catholic poured in eight goals while holding the Cougars off the board entirely for the full 80 minutes. The clean sheet adds another layer of confidence for a squad that has been one of the more consistent teams in 3A soccer this fall. Blanchet Catholic will look to carry this momentum into its next league contest and continue its push toward a PacWest title.
