Blanchet Catholic School Cavaliers Boys Soccer 8-0 Jefferson

Blanchet Catholic overwhelmed visiting Jefferson 8-0 on Tuesday in a dominant PacWest Conference (3A) boys soccer performance at home in Salem, Oregon. The Cavaliers controlled the match from start to finish, putting eight goals past the Democrats while keeping a clean sheet on the defensive end. The shutout win improves Blanchet Catholic to 8-1-2 overall and 4-1 in conference play, keeping the Cavaliers firmly in the hunt as the PacWest race heats up in October. An eight-goal margin is a strong statement, and the performance reflected a team playing with confidence and cohesion on both sides of the ball. The Cavaliers have now won seven of their last nine matches, with their only blemish in the loss column coming earlier in the season. With several league matches remaining on the schedule, Blanchet Catholic will look to build on this momentum and solidify its position near the top of the PacWest standings heading into the final stretch of the regular season.
